I'm Aurélie Claire — and I spent years searching for answers my doctors couldn't give me.

MY STORY

For a long time, I didn't understand my own body.

And I was scared. Autoimmune disease and cancer run in my family — and in my twenties, watching my own health deteriorate with no clear answers, I was terrified I was heading down the same path.

That fear is part of what kept me searching.

I was dealing with hair loss, skin that had become extremely dry and patchy, plantar fasciitis, bloating, digestive discomfort, weight that kept creeping up years after years and hay fever so severe I was on antihistamines from February to November every single year. My energy made no sense. My mood was all over the place. I was confused and genuinely didn't understand what was happening.

“ The medical answer? Antidepressants.”

In 2021 I discovered nutritional therapy. I enrolled at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and began learning to read my own blood panels, understand my hormones, and build a protocol that made sense for my body.

A year later I found fitness — and it added another layer. I started running, working with a personal coach (still am!), building strength and working on my body composition. Though if I'm honest, my running was inconsistent — some weeks I could barely get out the door. Even when I managed it and felt that temporary lift afterwards, the effort required felt overwhelming. I loved it and struggled with it at the same time.

But between nutrition and movement together, things began to shift. My hay fever — which had ruled nine months of every year — began to ease. My skin changed. My energy stabilised.

“ I wasn't just managing symptoms anymore. I was getting to the root.”

Then things got really hard.

In July 2024 I changed jobs. A toxic work environment built quickly around me, and the pressure became overwhelming. I stopped studying. My energy dropped dramatically, my mind was constantly racing, and I found myself stuck in that exhausting "tired but wired" state. I struggled to concentrate. Even small stressors felt unbearable. My upper back was in constant tension. My digestion got worse. Running — something I loved — became almost impossible to do.

When the source of the stress was removed in September 2025, I realised how long my system had been operating in survival mode. In March 2026 I took five weeks off work to recover properly. Instead of pushing through, I approached my recovery the way I'd been trained — by supporting my body's foundations.

I stabilised my blood sugar, increased my protein intake, prioritised whole unprocessed foods, removed coffee for a while, and used targeted supplementation to support my nervous system and energy production. I also started working with a chiropractor.

Within a few weeks, things began to shift. My mind felt calmer. My energy came back gradually. Even something as simple as reading a book without my mind racing felt like a milestone.

I came back to my studies. And in early 2026, I finally graduated.

In April 2026 I received my AuDHD diagnosis.

“ Honestly? It was a relief.
So much finally made sense.”

The years of symptoms, the way stress hits me harder than it seems to hit other people, the burnout, the hormonal sensitivity. My nervous system wasn't broken. It was just wired differently. And nobody had ever told me that.

I'm still processing it. But for the first time in a long time, I feel like I understand myself.

WHY I DO THIS WORK

When the body is properly supported, it has a remarkable capacity to recover.

I became a nutritional therapist because I wanted to give people what I wish I'd had. Someone who takes the symptoms seriously, looks at the full picture, and builds a plan that actually fits your real life.

Not a prescription to manage what you're feeling. An investigation into why you're feeling it.

I work with clients experiencing a wide range of health concerns — hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, skin conditions, thyroid problems, energy crashes, chronic stress and more. I particularly understand neurodivergent clients, and offer consultations in both English and French.

Because your body is trying to tell you something. And you deserve someone who will actually listen.

Health isn't something you outsource. It's something you build — daily, upstream of the symptoms.
